Now I don't want a debate on what fps the games were intended to be played at (which without a doubt is 20 fps, but contrary to popular opinion KFII-J plays absolutely fine on 30 fps with no glitches or problems except a couple of animated 2d fire sprites that cycle faster than they probably should, but they are in a couple of places only in the whole game so it's not a big deal), what I'm interested in is if there is a way to play KFIII-J at 30fps as well (or at least 20fps).Ĭonsidering that Pilot Style can be played at 30fps, I would assume this one should be able to as well since they seem to be running on the same engine and made at the same time (I think Pilot Style was given as promotional material just before the release of KFIII-J).Įven the original KF-J runs at a higher fps, as well as Shadow Tower (~20).
